If President Donald Trump happened to have indulged in some undefined “executive time” Thursday night by watching hours and hours of Fox News (he’s been known to do just that) he would have found, hour after hour, the media equivalent of a warm glass of milk.
Corey Lewandowski, the President’s former campaign manager, made no such argument about America’s generosity during an appearance on “The Story” with Martha MacCallum. As did many others, he simply parroted the Presidents’ words back at him.
“If you don’t love this country, you can leave Congress. You can go back to somewhere else,” Lewandowski said.
Hmmmm. Lewandowski. That name sounds Polish to me. Wonder if he ever heard any Polish jokes growing up. The Poles were the butts of most of the jokes when I was in elementary school and junior high school.
These kinds of statements have to take the fore in the 2020 campaign as not representative of American values. These statements are the OPPOSITE of American values and cannot be tolerated.
Fox News and their twisted, self-righteous sycophants are a virulent cancer on the body politic. Donald Trump and his enablers are a virulent cancer on the body politic. The cancer needs to be removed by any means necessary.
Need to send a good negotiator to deal with it… Someone well-traveled, with connections in lots of different countries… Someone who would relish the chance to get out of town to a country like Iran with no extradition treaty… Now where would we find someone like that…
Last weekend I happened to be perusing my cable TV guide. On Levin’s Sunday evening Fox program it was listed that he interviewed the Pastor John Hagee.
A guy who engaged in anti Semitic tropes and has stated that the Holocaust was biblical prophecy that created the state of Israel.
McCain had the temerity to denounce and rescind his support during the 2008 campaign but with Levin and Fox this stuff is ok because it appeals to their evangelical base who are awaiting the rapture.
