This is typical of Republicans. Until something actually affects them personally it’s a non issue, or worse some sort of oppressive conspiracy. Not really sure - I mean, I’ve underestimated their stupidity numerous times before. I’ve seen some of his contributions to conversations and it’s entirely possible that he doesn’t comprehend, but probably from lack of trying.

There have been excellent ‘take downs’ and counter arguments to all the conservative narratives during this virus by democrats, but you’d never even know that from most news sites. Conservatives dominate our news and thus what the national narratives are with this stuff. And that’ how you normalize the crazy and move the Overton window further to the right. It’s getting really frustrating that even democrat leaning sites are going along with giving conservatives more ‘air time’ than liberals.

It’s FOX. “stay at home” has been given a political position and they’re going to get on the wrong side of it. It’s not safe vs unsafe it’s “stay at home” is anti-Trump and “open up the economy” is pro-Trump. That’s how the issue has been tagged and it should be no surprise FOX has taken the pro-Trump position.
FOX has been on the wrong side of every factor in the COVID mess. They continue to dispense dangerous misinformation and lies.
