White House counselor Kellyanne Conway received mild pushback from a Fox News host on Thursday morning when she claimed the “whole world” knows exactly what was said during President Trump’s call with the president of Ukraine.
The whole world now knows that the Orange Impeachiness committed unlawful SOLICITATION (not once but twice that we know of) ‘Perfect’ Quid Pro Quo…omitted crucial words in the transcript he released (just like what “I am not a crook did during Watergate) intimidated witnesses, obstructed Congress, misappropriated Congressionally approved funds…and most egregious of all, facilitated the genocide of our ally, which when summed up in context, Ukrainegate & Turkeygate seems to all lead to Putin’s advantage!
You know what, Conway? The whole world is holding its breath to see whether America is going to be ruled by a fucking strong man or are we, collectively, going to go forward as a republic governed by law. That’s what the whole world is watching.
Conway is advancing the beetlejuice theory of quid pro quo. The only way Trump could possibly be guilty of any thing wrong on the “perfect call” would be if he said “quid pro quo” three times. That would allow the conclusion that he was strong arming Ukraine. Short of that there is nothing to see in the transcript. If you believe that I need to ask you “a favor though.”
I wish the media would not use “quid pro quo”. Call it what it is: extortion, blackmail, shake down - because most of the trumpers don’t know what quid pro quo means anyway!
you go girl.
so the whole world is wrong in your eyes and your little group of criminals is just absolutely perfect in the criminal department.
I got it now, phew,
I was beginning to wonder if KAC was ever going to get off the oval office couch and straighten us out…
An angry Hank the Trumphole said in my hearing that Donnie wasn’t getting due process in the impeachment inquiry. To my amazement, a woman who had never said anything before spoke up into the silence, “Impeachment 's in the Constitution, Hank. It IS due process. Quit the whining. I’m trying to get some work done.”
As Michael Cohen noted, Trump speaks in code, so as to avoid direct blame. Unfortunately for him, his code in the phone call was pretty obvious, and we can all decipher it. (He should have tried pig-Latin: idqukay opray uoqkay.)
I know what you’re saying, but the implication that Trump is either “strong” or a “man” is a gross mischaracterization. His Orangeness is the great pretender, adrift in a world of his own.
