When my daughter hit puberty she decided she wanted to convert to the LDS religion. No premarital sex, no drugs, no alcohol, no caffeine, no R rated movies. As a child of the 60s I felt deeply rejected in every single way. But what was I going to do - tell her “you will have pre-marital sex if you want to live in my house!” She completely stymied me.
