Fox News interrupted its live coverage of the public hearings in House impeachment investigation on Wednesday with a commercial break the moment when House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) began to speak to the witnesses.
Most of Trump’s hard core base are not going to be watching these hearings anyway. They’ll be at work or it will be so far over their heads they will get bored in 5 minutes. These are the people the GOP are aiming those stupid (and undignified) poster boards at and they won’t even see them.
Someone remind me: how many Fox employees has Trump appointed to the most senior levels of government? Is it 5 or 6?
Also, what’s that one show that determines Trump’s agenda every day he’s not golfing or doing crime meetings? Is it Meet the Press? I can’t remember…
Under Trump, the federal government has all-but fellated Rupert Murdoch’s propaganda outfit. When he’s not literally handing them the keys to the state, he’s parroting their talking points, recommending their programming and promoting synergies between Fox and the “Trumpire”. On at least two occasions he appears to have made major policy decisions as a direct, real-time reaction to Fox content. And more generally, Trump has shifted the Overton window by his constant embrace of crazy from the extreme lunatic fringe, which makes Fox’s lunacy seem almost reasonable by comparison (that is, when Fox itself isn’t playing the part of the lunatic fringe).
Fox is getting plenty out of the traitor they helped Putin install in the White House. Trump is the most useful of idiots.
Topo Gigio made more sense than Hannity.
As far as Ed Sullivan is concerned his politics and attitude about the arts were fairly conservative, witness his chiding of the Doors and Rolling Stones.
Are you sure you feel strong enough? Take plenty of vitamins and drink a whole glass of plain water an hour before. Remove sharp objects from the room.
Good luck kid.
I hope Fox viewers are alert enough to recognize this is Fox putting its finger on the scales in broad daylight, likely because it fears Dems have compelling evidence.
