Fox Board Shocked To Discover Tucker Carlson’s Racism

Old Tan Tucker, he’s a mother Fu…

Also,

You do the math…

From the LE press conference (bolding mine):

“Somebody got a tip,” Sheriff Capers said in a Tuesday night news conference. Then tactical officers from several agencies “meandered over there and found that tip to be true.”

The essence of law enforcement in Texas, it seems.

I know it is crazy. However, when you look at Russian history, these people know nothing else because throughout their history tyrants have ruled them. People forget that the Russians were still living in the feudal system until the 1860s.

Some of the emails were trashing Fox executives, including use of the c-word. Seems to me that would have been more of a factor than just reinforcing the racism he’s been spouting in the show for years.

So far, I’m buying the theory that multiple factors were piling up until the board or Murdoch had enough of it. Carlson was in the middle of negotiating a new contract with the old one expiring, he was probably asking for more money, and that’s a good time to fire someone. That may have been why it was done now, and nothing to do with the Dominion trial.

I suspect Gerasimov’s reappointment went down because he would do what Vlad wanted, thereby creating another monument to the leader’s irreproachable genius.
And, personally, I’m glad this kind of vanity is one of his flaws.

Here’s the full text of Tucker’s unforgivable text. They fired him not because he was a trumpofascist, but because he was insufficiently bloodthirsty. The weak are expelled from the pack.

A couple of weeks ago, I was watching video of people fighting on the street in Washington. A group of Trump guys surrounded an Antifa kid and started pounding the living shit out of him. It was three against one, at least.

Jumping a guy like that is dishonorable, obviously. It’s not how white men fight. Yet suddenly I found myself rooting for the mob against the man, hoping they’d hit him harder, kill him. I really wanted them to hurt the kid. I could taste it.

Then, somewhere deep in my brain, an alarm went off: this isn’t good for me. I’m becoming something I don’t want to be. The Antifa creep is a human being. Much as I despise what he says and does, much as I’m sure I’d hate him personally if I knew him, I shouldn’t gloat over his suffering. I should be bothered by it. I should remember that somewhere somebody probably loves this kid, and would be crushed if he was killed.

If I don’t care about those things, if I reduce people to their politics, how am I better than he is?

Apparently there are a few Putin doppelgängers around strategically placed in order to avoid an assassination attempt.

This is a lynch pin by choice for both sides. I don’t see any gain for the Soviets. Wagner wasted is a gain for Ukraine.

Still anyone’s game.

The local dialect is colorful, fer sure. I saw a clip this morning of the Sheriff talking to the press. He said after they got a tip that the suspect was at that location, deputies and a tac team “meandered over there”. I would have thought they might move with a bit more urgency than that. Maybe Texans meander faster than other people.

ETA: @llwillis got there first.

He had a whole show where he broadcast much worse things than that text to millions of people.

Whatever got him fired, it’s not this text.

Unless it was for the part where he felt a little bad for the antifa guy getting beaten up.

Is it fair for me to doubt that Tucker is, in fact, better than the purported Antifa member, who used a knife in self-defense, is?

Murdock offered up a sacrifice re:Dominion.

Tuck made money, but was a liability. Like O’Reilly and Ailes before him.

So this allowed Rupert to make a big show of it.

I think it’s that simple.

You know, I corrected that almost immediately, but the comment software goes into this endless loop where the comment/edit is in some kind of electronic purgatory. Happens many, many times a day. What’s up with that? Am I they only one so afflicted?

No ammo no fight.

And Bingo was it’s name-o.
