So he now has the approval of the courts to continue breaking the law. Good to know.

Next step in becoming a dictatorship. Remove all capability for oversight from anyone at all.

I don’t have time to read the decision, but apparently the court thinks that no one has a sufficient interest in enforcing the Constitution to bring suit.

Remember when we used to have a government of laws and not of men?

Well, only one court. There are other cases that are proceeding.

Good to know, thanks. And as far as I recall, this one was always a reach based on standing.

If only there was a house of representatives that was empowered to investigate the President.

The battle to oust Pelosi and her leadership team in the next House session will be awesome.

Well, then, I guess we can eliminate that from the law. Why even bother having it on the books, if it’s not enforceable?

Funny, how it was Jimmy Carter’s first act after being elected to divest himself from his peanut farm. I guess it really is OK if one is Republican.

Wow. Pelosi - Schumer, are you paying attention - are fuckin democracy is at stake!

Nope, they’re not paying attention - no one understands the Emoluments rule and no one cares because it’s summer. I know far too many people who are not paying attention to any of this and get sad if anyone even brings it up.

Public opinion is non-existent on this and all the other stuff. Ergo, nothing will be done.

The court has now held and a precedent has been established that none of this matters, legally, so we should just stop whinging about it.

I am a natural-born citizen of this country, and i am witnessing the willful destruction of this nation’s constitution by our President. Do i have standing to sue the President over these constitutional violations that are harming my country, and its future as a democratic republic?

I left NYC in January 2017, knowing full well I would be completely alcoholic by the time the Trump presidency was over.

Every day is a new abomination. Not sure I’ll ever come back. I am as heartbroken as only an America-loving immigrant can be.

What the fuck happened.
