Former Olympian Charged with One Count of Felony Vandalism In Reflecting Pool Saga

Well there was a reason… and it absolutely was successful in that goal.

It was to limit representation of states with larger urban (read: immigrant) populations

The Permanent Reaportionment Act’s(PRA) capping of the house should be unconstitutional.

It breaks the compromise that gave us the bicameral legislature. Small states get their equal representation in the Senate, and the House is then proportional

And don’t forget about all of the foreign nationals who, shortly after arriving in the US, become born-again Christians.

I wish you well! That was my first spine surgery which for me did not work. Then much more extensive surgery with little metal posts and screws to make L4,3and 2 to fuse. I’m 3 months post surgery and it is still a struggle. Day by day.

You either know the story or it’s just sooo obvious.

She already shared her Nobel Peace Prize with him, right? She’s of no more use to him.

Machado’s just another one who tried to placate him in order to survive. And in her case, in order to gain her standing as leader. Like others who bent to his will, she can never win. He demands (threatens) more, again and again. She got kicked to the curb.

Yep. I got the same email too. Promptly deleted. Such blatant Trumpian bullshit. I think they’re really desperate.

Is he sure it wasn’t Ken Paxton who took his pen?

Well timed lightning strike. Not biblical but effective.

Milbanks’ noting the irony in the banning of pens by a group that calls itself “Freedom 250” reminds me of something that happened the last time I attended a World Cup soccer match, at the Pontiac Silverdome, on June 24, 1994.

I worked near the Silverdome. Throughout the workday, a coworker and I would hear reports on the radio of tickets still being available for that evening’s match between Sweden and Russia. So, we decided to head over to the stadium and buy some tickets. When we got to the ticket booth, there were still some tickets available. We tried to purchase a pair, but they refused to let us pay for them with a credit card… even after I noted that I was going to use whatever brand of credit card happened to be the official credit card sponsor of the World Cup!

I love fireworks and miss shooting them off. My beloved dog does not love fireworks and has spent the evening sheltering from the neighbors celebrating.

Oh, if he did that, he would be my hero!

Yes, thanks to Trump’s obsession with retribution. No, not retribution, which is a respectable notion, but vengeance. And that lust (he believes) would be served by the SAVE Act, for which he sacrifices the housing bill. The man is an idiot. (And as I write I am struck by the Greek root of “idiot,” a kind of unto-oneself-ness. Self-entrapment.)

My dog hated fireworks with a deep passion.
