I would take even money that MTG can’t even spell “Competent”, much less recognize first rate prosecutor when she sees one in operation. More the point, however, is that her only objectives appear to involve using the situation to make herself the center of attention – her only real skill, so far as can be seen.

Let me be clear. I consider trump to be a traitor in addition to his 71 felony counts across two indictments.
Why is he not yet in jail?
He’s been criming for 2 years. He led a coup and fostered an insurrection against the government he was head of.
Why is he not in jail?
Why does the GOP tolerate his madness?
Try to imagine 30 years ago a candidate from any party who had been twice impeached, twice arrested, twice criminally indicted (a total of 71 felony counts) and a potential two more criminal indictments running to be president as if he were innocent…totally and completely innocent. Michael Dukakis’ campaign derailed because he rode in a tank and looked goofy. Goldwater got hammered in 1964 because he told the truth as he saw it in his nomination speech and it scared everyone shitless. He lost big time. But trump seems coated in tefon.

Madge shouldn’t be so harsh: the indictments and all the associated communications and filings will give Donnie new ‘beautiful mind papers,’ a possible stand in for those Jay Bratt so rudely took from him.
And whether or not he choses to box these up is his call.

Who says the Left is “scared”? More like angry. Frustrated. Wanting accountability. Sick and tired of those Republicans who think being in office just means they get to be Super Trolls and have no clue about governance or their responsibility to the people of the United States.
If a Republican insists the Left is “scared”, just take it as projection, as per usual. They know they’re backing a lying con man and criminal. They know they’re destroying the United States. But they’re scared to cross their Great Savior, scared of his “wrath”, scared of the crazies with their guns who will do anything he says, or take matters into their own hands when he isn’t explicit enough.
But lefties aren’t “scared.” That’s wishful thinking.

You’re right in that the left isn’t wavering in their belief. We’re scared shitless because we live in a world where the one political party who stands against our ideology has embraced an anti-democratic stance.
That has serious implications to us, our children and our grandchildren.
If you’re not scared, you’re not paying attention.

I know you’re just venting so vent away, but he’s presumed innocent until convicted under our system of law. Let the process play out. He’s facing too many separate court cases not to be convicted in at least one of them!

Hanging is too quick. He needs to suffer for his crimes. If he avoids stroking out before the head shave and prison jumper (h/t @txlawyer), then even a few months in prison (or something equivalent) will be at least a little payback for what he’s put us all through.

Sorry. I don’t buy that. I wasn’t nervous in 2016 because I believed my fellow humans would believe a First Lady/Senator/Defense Secretary would be MORE than qualified to become President of the United States…(especially considering she had a very high approval rating when she stepped down), versus a television sideshow douchebag…etc, etc, etc.
When people on MY OWN SIDE said “b-b-b-but both sides,” “the lesser of two evils is evil” and all of the horseshit that has been litigated ad nauseam at this point, helped lead to a Donald Trump Presidency…that leads ME to be scared shitless.
When a No Labels candidate is put in place to drag those same wishy washy voters to lean in their direction to hand the Presidency to Trump…
When an RFK can see support as high as 21% in national opinion polls…
Who needs to get a grip and see reality?
I’m not talking about shutting down my mind, I’m talking about being crystal clear on what we are facing and doing what needs to be done to save our system of government.
