Former Israeli PM Receives Mixed Verdicts On Corruption Charges | Talking Points Memo

The BBC reports that Ehud Olmert, the former Israeli prime minister, has been acquitted by an Israeli court of two major corruption charges, but was convicted on a third, lesser charge. Olmert, who resigned in 2009 amidst the allegations, was found guilty of illegally doling favors to a business colleague, but the court found him innocent of bribery and false billing for foreign fundraising trips.
