Will Trump dismiss Webster as a Carter appointee?

Stay tuned!

(Actually, I wouldn’t bother.)

Bravo, Mr. Webster, for your criticism rendered as a true, long-standing, non-partisan professional!

“His activities of late concerning Ukraine have, at a minimum, failed the smell test of propriety,” Webster wrote.

I’d say that they stink to high heavens.

“That’s a double-ooch!” – Fleegle

1 / Yes, yes, this severe finger-wagging is necessary, but “How many divisions does the Pope have?”
2 / You can’t shame these rogues into good behavior. Not even a Senator or two.
3 / Bet you $5 that Webster will still hang out with these creeps at the Country Club, Chicken Dinners, genteel get-togethers, etc. Public shunning is important, yet he is silent on this.

I’m sure Rudy, Donnie, etal will try and smear this honorable man. BTW I never realized how much Rudy reminded me of a sweaty Richard Nixon…yuck.

Rudy has been eating a lot of pirogis, and putting double portions of sour cream on his blinis. He looks like he’s put on a lot of weight.

Agree, but better said than unsaid, and may provide permission/license for others with integrity to speak out.

Mostly, but I suspect his words have more influence than the combined comments of any given peanut gallery.

The fact that William Barr and Donald Trump have decided to go to war with the FBI as well as every major intelligence agency within the U.S. government will come back to bite them in the ass. It’s not a question of whether, only when Trump and Barr are taken down by these agencies.

Once that happens, no one will show any mercy for them either. I guarantee, most members of every one of these agencies harbors a seething hatred for Trump and Barr and are just waiting for the opportunity to get their revenge. That sort of behavior never goes unpunished for long.

These “long-time friends” have been dirty for decades. Perhaps the real complaint is that now they’re doing it so far out in the open that no one can ignore their behavior?

Typical Never-Trumper caterwauling.

You knew that, and I knew that, but a former head of the FBI and the CIA, well, he had no idea.

Better late than never?

With “friends” like Rudy and LowBarr, who needs enemies?

Not a good day for the FBI haters.

“The sworn statements of Mr. Flynn and his former counsel belie his new claims of innocence and his new assertions that he was pressured into pleading guilty to making materially false statements to the FBI,” Sullivan wrote.

The judge also denied Flynn’s demands for greater disclosure, saying he “fails to explain how most of the requested information that the government has not already provided to him is relevant and material to his underlying offense — willfully and knowingly making materially false statements and omissions to the FBI … or to his sentencing.”

I hope Mikey gets a nice long vacation. Of course, that pardon is flitting about, I imagine. Go ahead, Trump. Get those impeachment numbers up.

Where are others like Corker, Kasich, Powell, ANY other Republicans who will say this is not us, this is not what we stand for. Their silence is deafening.

No one’s going to listen to him either.
