I’m not going to discount their claims entirely. I’d be surprised if they didn’t receive abuse for “doing their jobs.” Their jobs are to troll on the grand scale. Trolls are want to attract abuse. It’s also pretty typical to run to authority to protect them because they were successful.

Higby claims to have almost been killed. That doesn’t imply a level of harm that leaves a mere bruise. He’s saying he nearly died, or barely avoided the reaper. Prove it.

Interesting that Trump, thinking habeas corpus might be a person, hands the question over to Cosplay Kristi, who when asked about habeas corpus a while ago, defined it as the president’s constitutional right to kick people out of the country. I think the correct descriptor for this is “dumb and dumber.” You pick which one is the dumbest; I can’t.

Proof that you and I might accept or MAGA will accept? Two different things. These guys want a reaction, he probably got one. Not as extreme as claimed. When you’re talking folks with vivid imaginations and absolute and existential terror of everyone and everything that challenges their world view, a raised eyebrow might be perceived as a death threat.
For all we know someone may have spit at him, and since all “libruls” have AIDS it was clearly attempted murder. I don’t know why, but any action can be turned into a death threat. Probably breathing.

Of course. Ambiguity is where the big money is, right? Lawsuits over whether “gender” or “sex” or whatever is determined by biology or lifestyle. Let the court battles rage! With no definitive legal standards, the winner is determined by wealth, as Gawd intended! It’s the American Way!

Trump is not going to engage in “preventive health” measures. The two chief changes a person can make when it comes to cardiovascular improvement are diet and exercise, neither of which he will change. He’ll eat as he damn well pleases. And he’s famously said the human body is born with a finite level of energy, which excessive and unnecessary exercise diminishes and is therefore not to be engaged in. Beyond getting him to take a few different medications there’s nothing preventative Trump will be doing.

Just more BS and deception from Trump’s medical team. MRI of the heart won’t find high calcium deposits in your neck’s carotid arteries. You need an ultrasound for that. Half the people who suffer heart attacks have normal cholesterol levels. It’s way more complicated and interconnected, but yes, “advanced imaging” is a red flag. Maybe Trump gets it b/c he’s pres but the BS is strong.

New cats in da house, girl on the left is 3 months old, boy on the right is 4 months. Our last ones passed away years ago, we didn’t want to adopt new ones until after the big cross-country move. But we’re now settled in, so it was time.

People who listened to the History of Rome by Mike Duncan will remember that the emperor Caracalla received the moniker “Enemy of Mankind”. Aside from fratricide, he travelled extensively, forcing locals to acquiesce to his absurd demands, such as gorging on seafood far away from the coast. Trump and RFK Jr. have chosen the side of disease and despair over humanity, making them the Enemies of Mankind of our time.

Trump is going to go after some group that he doesn’t like. He’ll force the DOJ to indict people giving money to “People For The First Amendment Institute”, alleging it’s funding terrorism. It’ll be challenged in court. Some MAGA judge will uphold Trump’s persecution. Then the appeals start. At which point SCOTUS will rule the oppression can continue apace while the litigation winds its way through the system. You know, because just maybe the 1st Amendment isn’t as all encompassing as has been previously ruled. Might have to take another look at it. Giving money to terrorists could be a different matter.
