For States, Fed Support For Testing Came With A Demand: No Extensions | Talking Points Memo

States that received federal support for testing had to agree with a condition from the Trump administration: don’t ask for that help to be extended.

They can’t ask for extension. They signed an NDA.

Fed support for testing Trump should also come to an end.
That way the hoax will end.

“It would seem to me as an observer that it’s a pretty dumb thing to turn off testing sites when cases are soaring over the issue of money,” [Craig Fugate, the FEMA administrator under President Obama] said. “All this is, this is money.”

Chiselin’ Trump: “That makes me smart.”

You’re right. That’s how this freak thinks.

“When the agreement was made, the thinking was this will be over by the time we get to summer…”

The Trump toadies guessed wrong, and microbiology didn’t give a damn about magical GOP thinking.

So now we just let tens of thousands needlessly die?

(NRA: “I just can’t compete with this kind of slaughter!”)

When did FEMA decide that there is a time limit on natural disasters?

(oh, during the trump “I don’t care” administration)

Florida and other hurricane-prone states beware!

Just like the federal stockpile of ventilators, masks, gowns and gloves was ours, so is this money and you can’t have any more. Period.

The administration refused to convey Emergency status on Texas after the last tornadoes tore up the place.

If you don’t test, the numbers don’t go up and if people die -oh well. This does not seem like a winning strategy.

Did that include Maine?

It is as if he wants to lose Texas.

When Trump changed the “F” in FEMA to mean “Feeble”.

I know. It’s rather uncanny really how hard he seems to be working on losing, period. But he certainly isn’t trying to hang on here at all. I guess he thinks the evangelicals will save him here but I don’t think so. hahahaha

You can’t blame a guy for angling to get a little leverage. Hell, people wouldn’t respect you if you just offered it up.

Isn’t this rich.

I wonder what TX & FL will say about this. How will they spin his ending testing sites as cases soar?

Will Trump extend funding to red state Governors & not to CA, like he did PPE?

You just can’t make this absurd management up. No tests for the longest, calling it hoax, shutting pandemic office, cutting CDC funds & WHO funds, opening back up bars, beaches, now closing testing sites as the pandemic reaches catastrophic numbers.

Abject failure
