The tension between Michael Flynn and federal prosecutors showed no signs of easing on Thursday, as new counsel for Flynn claimed they uncovered potentially serious problems while reviewing the documents in the case.

The source of the ‘undue pressure’ on Flynn was almost certainly the same.

Flynn really, really does not want to testify about Bijan Kian. He’s risking his entire no-jail cooperation plea over this. The way he originally thought the plea was going to go down, he would be sentenced back in January and not be required to do any more cooperation (testimony). I never thought postponing his sentencing until after Bijan’s trial would end up being a big deal. The closer we get to Bijan’s trial (september), the squirmier Flynn gets.
Interesting take. Maybe Bijan has dirt on him and his lawyer is just waiting for him to testify to drop it?

Prosecution - Yes, your honor. I would like to point out that this Mouth that Walks Like a Man rolled on anybody he could think of in the hopes of getting a reduced sentence. Now the contents of a fishing trawler’s nets don’t squirm as much as he does now that your honor has made it quite clear that he is nothing more than a traitor.
In other words, if you want to throw his ass off the edge of the world, we have no objection. We’ve squeezed him like a fucking lemon anyway. Begging the court’s pardon.
