For someone who’s frequently mocked as a turtle, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) somehow earned a new nickname by former President Trump — one that took him to a higher place.

A threat from Donald Trump should be treated as a badge of honor. That is the only thing Trump knows how to do, and the more he threatens people, the more impotent he becomes.
But Mitch clearly doesn’t qualify; also from Wikipedia:

This was a coveted position because the Reserve units were mostly kept out of combat during the Vietnam War. His first day of training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, was July 9, 1967, two days after taking the bar exam, and his last day was August 15, 1967. Shortly after his arrival, he was diagnosed with optic neuritis and was deemed medically unfit for military service. After five weeks at Fort Knox, he was honorably discharged. His brief time in service has repeatedly been put at issue by his political opponents during his electoral campaigns.
Trump continues to be as big a problem for Republicans as he is for the country as a whole. History, gerrymander, and media may be against us WRT the midterm elections but I maintain hope he continues to lose for them and cause them to lose as he did in 2020.

Buzzard calling someone a crow. Interesting, crows are some of the smartest birds - there is no denying Moscow is no dummy - and buzzards live off carrion.
ETA. I have neither love for Moscow or crows. When west Nile came through here 10+/- years ago and decimated the crow and jay population it was a great thing. Jays have recovered, not a great thing for the song birds, but crows are happily still in short supply.

Democrats should be crowing about this. Moscow Mitch clearly has crows’ feet that Skanky, Iwanker and Melaria have stuffed with plastic from “Chyna”.
Democrats should be making sure that every Republican knows that Moscow Mitch is nadda, zilch, persona non grata. They should be reminding Republicans time and again that Skanky and Iwanker want them to stay home and not vote.
Trump and his minions should be tearing the Republican party apart, but the party is so afraid of Trump and his minions that they are just going along with the nonsense and violence. Maybe the party won’t manage to tear itself apart, if they crazies are able to subsume the party into their craziness then the transition will be smooth…we’ll have to hope the Democrats can hold things together and enough independents are disgusted and reject the Republican craziness.
Trump threatens revenge on everybody and everything. Republicans shiver, hide, quake, and threaten revenge on anyone who doesn’t do likewise.
But the dems are in disarray.
