Floyd And Chauvin’s Ex-Coworker Walks Back Claim They ‘Bumped Heads’ While Working Together

David Pinney, who worked with George Floyd and former cop Derek Chauvin at the El Nuevo Rodeo nightclub in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday retracted his claim that the two men had a hostile relationship before Floyd died after Chauvin kneeled on his neck during an arrest.

Good to correct it now. Left out there, downstream it becomes a big problem for the prosecution.

No chance the walk back had to do with those life threatening tweets, or the constant stream of cop cars slowly cruising up and down his street…

The brutality of George Floyd’s 8 minutes plus lynching didn’t need to be juiced up by extraneous confirmation that Chauvin is a monster. The video speaks volumes!

Police brutality, a/k/a use of excessive force, is not a crime. It should be, but it is not.

So…he had problems with OTHER black people just not George Floyd? Got it.

Only the black people he met? Oh, OK.

I can no longer look at the photo/video of Floyd on the ground.
Wish this co-worker had gotten it right before speaking out and then having to take it back.

Pinney had confused Floyd with a different black coworker

“They all look the same to me,” he added.

Chauvin worked at that club for 16 years. It’s possible he knew of other people working security there. If you’re a cop, you have resources at your fingertips to dig into people’s history. Not saying it he did or didn’t know George Floyd. It’s not out of the question that he was aware of who he was because George was distinctive in looks and size. George Floyd had worked at the club for at least a year. Even if they did not work at the same time, the club was in his precinct and it’s not out of the question he could’ve stopped there on other occasions.

More than that. This is why if you go with murder one you gotta have solid proof. As I said more than one witness (as you would expect in a work place) or someone who was not subject to challenge.

The defense in this matter is going to be “I was doing what I was taught, and now I am being rail roaded,to try to assuage, the mob…”. Going for murder one w/o sufficient proof feeds into that.

Obama…? Floyd?

So that’s why Trump has such an interesting hair style and color? To make him stand out from all the other over weight, racist white males, that are assholes?

Ah, 15 minutes of celebrity. Two witnesses in the OJ Simpson case may have been truthful, but they went to the press before the police. Judge ruled out their testimony.

In the Rodney King trial, the defense played the beating video over and over, ostensibly to “analyze” it for King’s “non-compliance” by defense “experts”. The real reason wad to de-sensitize the jury to the brutality.
Will the defense use similar tactics with this case? Probably. Will the prosecution have learned from those cases? No. They never do.

Everyone has focused (rightly so) on Chavin kneeling on Floyd’s neck, HOWEVER I think he was actually killed by the OTHER officer you can see who is kneeling (with both knees) on Floyd’s lower back.
This will compress Floyd’s diaphragm making it impossible for him to inhale, thus suffocating him.
It’s why he could (barely) get out the words: “I can’t breath”. Without being able to expand his diaphragm, he suffocated.
There is no evidence that his Hyoid bone was broken (which commonly happens when you are strangled by the neck) so I think it was actually the other cop who really killed him (with the complete assistance of Chavin.)
BOTH of them should be charged with 2nd Degree Murder.

“Pinney had confused Floyd with a different black coworker, according to CBS News.”

Cuz, yeah, you know, “they” all look alike… completely understandable

So how many 6 feet four inch black guys worked there? ( Height is from Wikipedia)

The question is - is he telling the truth now? OR was he telling the truth and came under pressure from “all lives matter” protesters who actually think that ONLY White lives matter to retract? I am NOT convinced by changes like this - usually they are based in fear.
