No charges have been filed and Christian Ziegler’s attorney Derek Byrd put out a statement after the Trident piece was published saying his client would be “completely exonerated.”
He may be exonerated of the rape charges, but there is going to be plenty of evidence of a “decadent lifestyle”.

Once we have done all the obvious jokes, somebody has to ask why this story stayed hidden for about 2 months and why the police report is still heavily redated. Would that be the case if the Christian Zigler wasn’t the Florida GOP chair. If he had been the Florida Democratic Chair the full report would have been in the press October 6. The failure of the mainstream press to find this story for nearly two months says all you need to know about how in the tank they are for Republicans.
