When asked what specifically the Florida law enforcement officers would be doing at the border, Plessinger followed up with(,)

“Securing Governor DeSantis reelection.”

Ah, behold, a continuation of the insurrection, only a lower grade tactic to undermine the authority of the federal government.

Abbott, Ducey, DeSantis, and others are using the stunt to blame illegal immigration as the source of an epidemic of drug overdoses that continues.

Yeah if those illegal immigrants would just restrain themselves from forcibly shooting those clean living Americans with opioids, but apparently they cannot help themselves, overdosing people is in their DNA.

So there isn’t any wildlife in flordia that needs to be taken care of? Taxpayers pay these people to handle wildlife not to go stand around at the border as a political prop.

Since the Game Wardens already have the pythons on the everglades under control, they now are going to try their hand with another invasive species: the Mexians.

The Federal government is now absent from the border between Texas and Mexico?

Officers will be “investigating criminal activity associated with human smuggling, drugs and weapon smuggling.”

So Florida Game Wardens are going to enforce Texas state law? Seems totally reasonable. What could possibly go wrong?

P.S. And don’t immigrants have to right to “Constitutional Carry”?

Speaking on behalf of Texas Republicans, Governor Abbott urged help: “We are in desperate need of more park rangers and game wardens at the Texas border, as there have been numerous reports of illegal ocelot crossings. Joe Biden and the Democrats are opening up our country to invasive species. They are taking over our parks and streams, and soon they will be coming for our pet supply superstores and world-class veterinarian care. This. Must. Stop.”

Some have questioned if Florida game wardens are capable of the work, given the number of Burmese pythons, Bengal tigers, Nile monitors, Cuban tree frogs, Mayan cichlids, and Argentine black and white tegus, already invading Florida. Governor Ron DeSantis brushed aside that criticism, noting “They’re already here in Florida, so we treat them as we treat all Floridians, with the care, compassion, and welcome everyone who visits the Sunshine State has come to expect.”

DeSantis then observed, “but no ocelots can come into Texas. That’s where we must make our stand.”

Could we BE any more Banana Republic?

DeSantis is not worried about Black Panthers?

Because, you know, they are black.

BUT they are armored with Vibranium…so FL game wardens wouldn’t stand a chance.

I’m glad someone can finally stem the tide of illegal Mexican fish just crossing the border as if they own the place.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on Friday that it’s still unclear how the state deployment is being funded.

Wait, what? Are you seriously telling me Mexico isn’t paying for this? What a loser.

I preferred was less revolted by the Rump-publicans’ unseemly, in-kind political donations when they took the form of covering up the narcissistic sex pig’s infidelities. This selling out of state officers’, agents’, wardens’ and troops’ deployments to the highest-bidding nonresident billionaire, is far more consequentially wrong.
