Flake Foretells ‘Long-Term Doom’ For GOP If Trump Reelected

Former Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) said in an interview published Tuesday that he doesn’t expect President Donald Trump to be reelected — but that if he is, it will spell “doom long-term” for the party.

I foretell long term doom for the United States of America if the Current Occupant is re-elected.

“…but at some point you run out of angry people.”

Several thousand years of recorded human history suggest that this is not an accurate prognostication.

Also, fuck the Republican party. I’m more concerned with what a second Trump term would do to the rest of us.

He’s not wrong but he is damned sure a fracking coward.

We should heap scorn on the former Senator who decided to quit instead of fighting for what he claims to believe.

By the time the dust settles on the current four year slog long term doom may have already been assured.

I will dance in my driveway the day trump
Loses the election
Is out of office
Is indicted
Or jailed

One or more may come true so look out neighbors you may see an old man barking at a cloud.
At least Flake had the good sense to get outta the way of Krysten Sinema so she could take his seat. Now if McSally can be defeated here in AZ, and Hickenlooper elected in Colorado it will take only one more state to elect a democrat senator for the Senate to be in democrat hands. And that is as important as getting trump out of office in my opinion.

Will? Has he been sleeping since 2017? Can he recognize the GOP now?

… ‘Long-Term Doom’ For Republican Party If Trump Is Reelected

Really? How about “long term doom” for civilization in general. Why would there even be a Republican Party once we’ve all gone back to being hunter-gatherers?

Hell, long term doom for human civilization, given that we’ll run out of time to do anything meaningful about global warming.

He needs to co-captain a bipartisan ship with Joe Lieberman and sail away in search of the Northwest Passage. (Sorry. Puns always happen before the first cup of coffee.)

Flake still puts party over country. The future of America and the world is in the balance, and he worries about his shitty little party.
