WTF is there to probe? They want to protect their students, faculty, parents, and everyone else in their districts. You murderous freaks see political benefit in killing folks. The end.

They’re heavily invested in this madness and can’t back out now because they’d look weak.

It’s insanity.

If I were Broward Country, I would respond to the FL Board of Education thusly:

The good news, Broward Country now has 5 child ICU beds available. The bad news, that still represents an ICU utilization of over 90%

The answer to our current “have you no decency” moment is no. They don’t. Cruelty is the point.

Abbott is vaccinated and announced the diagnosis in a statement, saying he is not currently experiencing symptoms, but is receiving “Regeneron’s monoclonal antibody treatment.”

A. Re: Regeneron-boy that was fast. Vaccinated no less.
B. Guess he doesn’t think the virus is a piffle.
C. hah-Hah!

Why is he receiving Regeneron if he is asymptomatic and vaccinated. Makes me crazy thinking about these entitled assholes.

That is my point. He scurried to that treatment without delay. I smell a rat in this process.

So this was in WaPo about a mother who emailed her daughter’s school in Tennessee because of the opt out option.

Last week, Tennessee’s Hamilton County School District announced that masks will be mandatory for students and staff, with one key caveat: Students whose parents complete an opt-out form will be exempt from the policy.

This mother’s email is on target, and on point.

So has Florida State Board of Education chair Tom Grady been questioned about the 8000 students and staff in Hillsborough County Public Schools that are out quarantining because of contact with COVID?

How big is their staff and attendance that 8000 people doesn’t make a dent in their consciences?

What’s there to probe? These school districts said they don’t want to harm or even worse, kill children. I’m sure they are doing this out in the open.

Foolish peasant. Priority access to Regeneron is for the members of the better classes.

“The Governor may employ as many persons as he or she, in his or her discretion, may deem necessary to procure and secure protection to life, liberty, and property of the inhabitants of the state, . . .” Florida Statutes, Title IV, Chapter 14, §14.01

DeSantis prioritizes his duties in the opposite order in which they are written.

And they don’t mind sacrificing teachers as well as children. Here in Arizona the governor wants to punish districts financially for mask mandates even though a judge ruled the law they passed banning mask mandates doesn’t go into effect until the end of September. Of course, they should never have passed it. But this is worse- it’s an experiment to see how many kids and teachers will get sick and take Covid home. I’m SO happy I retired and so very concerned about my former colleagues and their students. My former district has definitely not mandated masks…
