I think you may have missed the point, er pun. And for the record I have been cutting my own hair for over 20 years because once it thinned to the point where it was buzz or combover I went for buzz and haven’t needed a barber sonce. But the last cut I paid for was still $12 and that was a the local shop not some fancy clip joint if you’ll pardon the double entendre.

It isn’t a shock that some of the same figures who were stating they would not enforce the new gun control regulations in Washington state are now coming out as declining to enforce stay-at-home. I do not know if this is unique to WA and surrounding state, but it appears that the same militia or quasi-militia types that we’ve seen before in anti-gun-control, anti-immigrant, and anti-federal-management-of-lands protests are at the front of this new “I know I said I was a prepper but dammit I need to get my hair cut!” movement.

Honestly, after reading the Jane Mayer article in the New Yorker, he seems like a less intelligent Walter White. His ambition, desire to be “right” no matter what and his ego drives everything he’s ever done. He has no principles he lives by and he’ll do whatever he thinks is necessary to hold on to power. Since he can’t do an about-face without appearing foolish, he’s decided he has no choice but to dig in and support Trump 110%.
It would be far worse if he had to publicly acknowledge he made a mistake by turning on Trump and the GOP base. He might end up living in ignominy, dying alone like Joe McCarthy or something equally plebeian.

Yeah. I taught 1st year med students for 40+ years and I know things are not always easy in medicine. But with any luck there ought to be a prominent epitope on this bad boy virus that an antibody could be made to in our systems. I have to believe a vaccine will happen. The alternative sucks way too badly to be tolerable.
I hate to think that I might die (I am in that “old fart” category at almost 71 years old) because trump decided to be fucking lazy one fine February day and go play a round of golf at Mar-a-Lago. No, I cannot accept that as my life ending. I must out live him so I can piss on his grave.

Our low life scum of a president is killing as many poor and minority groups as he can. Open up everything. Less votes against him. It seems so apparent and have heard no word on this by the news media. This is McConnel’s and Trumps design. We know both are bigots and racists.
I’m all for their deserting him before this coming November. I hope enough stay alive to make a difference when they vote against him.
