Okay, but does the rest of the world know what “gop” stands for? Some kind of trail mix? A sort of putty? A thickened version of “Slime” for children to play with?
That is some twisted craziness.
When granny was in the state mental hospital in the 60s, those poor souls weren’t as crazy as this admin.
When we visited, Mom was like the Pied Piper with a purse full of candy and gum and they would all flock around her.
Most important, she had matches to light their cigarettes in those pre Bic lighter days.
My 8 year old brain was like “Wow! My Mom is really ccol!”
I long ago decided that human beings have a remarkable ability to get used to just about anything.
Thanks for this comment. I have seen very few (if any) of the Big National Media put this sequence together. They’re not dumb, I assume, just
- Afraid of appearing to “not sufficiently support the troops” by giving their attacker any rationale for his behavior
- Afraid of Trump’s vengeance (*FAKE NOOOZE! FAKE NOOOOOOZE!!)
- Afraid of stochastic violence by magamen (see 1 and 2)
Not under this administration.
The presidency has an Article II, but it’s pretty clear that the GOP Congress has granted him Article I powers, too.
I did not buy anything of that nature. Although, HoneyBaked is a bit pricey, but I try to purchase the nicer things for the holidays vs daily meals, after all it’s the holidays. So, I use half & half vs milk to make the dish creamier & more flavorful and use butter vs cooking oil. When it’s not the holidays I will use skim & purchase a WalMart ham & doctor it up. This year though the prices had escalated to where I couldn’t even purchase my chocolate covered almonds & they’re not gourmet.
The internet is an ocean of Bullshit.
Good. This isn’t even a war crime, it’s straight up murder. Should have refused the second strike but all the steroid abuse has rotted the Seals brains.
Stephen,
Be careful not to reduce the non-assets too drastically, as a hedge against too many assets dying too quickly. You wouldn’t want to be cut short, you know (wink) as you churn through assets.
Watch your pennies and your dimes take care of themselves.
Happy Holidays!
For sure. But this administration may not last forever, eh, not even, say, a thousand years.
A Nation in crisis!

“Post shutdown”, more like ongoing rape and plunder.
Fighting both sides of that drug war!!!
Trump vows full pardon for drug-trafficking ex-foreign president
President Donald Trump used his Truth Social account on Friday to announce that he intends to grant a “Full and Complete Pardon” to former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernandez – a convicted drug trafficker sentenced last year to 45 years in U.S. federal prison for helping move massive quantities of cocaine into the United States.
n announcing his new pardon plans Friday, Trump portrayed Hernandez, who was extradited to the U.S in 2024 and convicted after a lengthy trial, as the true victim. In his post, the president claimed Hernandez had been “treated very harshly and unfairly,” adding that the information came to him “according to many people that I greatly respect.”
“This cannot be allowed to happen, especially now, after Tito Asfura wins the Election, when Honduras will be on its way to Great Political and Financial Success,” Trump wrote about the Honduran presidential candidate he endorsed in a pair of social media posts.
“VOTE FOR TITO ASFURA FOR PRESIDENT, AND CONGRATULATIONS TO JUAN ORLANDO HERNANDEZ ON YOUR UPCOMING PARDON.”
According to The Washington Post, the Sept. 2 boat strike initially left two survivors clinging to the boat. The Post alleges Adm. Mitch Bradley, head of Special Operations Command, then ordered a second strike in order to comply with Hegseth’s orders and to ensure the survivors couldn’t call on other traffickers to retrieve them and their cargo.
In a post on X on Friday, Hegseth said the strikes were intended to be “lethal, kinetic strikes.”
“Our current operations in the Caribbean are lawful under both U.S. and international law, with all actions in compliance with the law of armed conflict—and approved by the best military and civilian lawyers, up and down the chain of command,” Hegseth said.
Wow, I think that was an actual Freudian slip on my part. I left that post believed I’d said Article Two, after all the times I’ve made that complaint…
But you are so right. And they awarded it to him practically before he asked for it.
Trump is surrounding himself with his gaudy gold, so he thinks this is a golden age, it’s fools gold just like him. But more to the point, the average person doesn’t need the government to provide data that he can see with his own eyes when he goes to the store and see that his money doens’t go as far as it has in the past.
November is almost over, so I can be reasonably confident in saying that that is one of the stupidest things I’ve read all month.
“Call on other traffickers?” HOW??
But let’s suppose for a minute that those two traumatized, possibly injured, waterlogged survivors had some magical communications device that survived the blast and immersion in water, and had the range to summon assistance – not the “anybody around please save us” kind like you’d expect, but the “swoop in and scoop up us and whatever’s left of our cargo” kind – and that the cartel had an equally magical ready response force that could reach them in time. If the Trumpies have the 100% accurate ironclad intelligence coverage that they keep on claiming, why wouldn’t they just interdict (sink) the responding cartel forces as well?
I’d like to see Admiral Bradley explain all that with a straight face.
“Our current operations in the Caribbean are lawful under both U.S. and international law, with all actions in compliance with the law of armed conflict—and approved by the best military and civilian lawyers, up and down the chain of command,” Hegseth said.
And that
is just a wall-to-wall carpet of lies.
