Lying is deeply imbedded in Republican DNA. Nothing new here except he’s being called out like he’s some sort of outlier or exception to the rule.

Seems like they don’t have to train these R liars. Doesn’t require any learned or polished skills, they’re just born with the know-how to fleece rubes and the gall to blame Ds for everything. It has been going on for decades, I would think even Rs are sick of hearing their own tribe telling gigantic lies and then weakly trying to blame Dems or Hippies or Soros or Antifa/BLM, etc.

Perhaps Fox assigned her as the voice of pushback to see how their audience would react.
Shorter Santos: “But everybody’s doing it!” Most adults outgrow this behavior. Rethugs wallow in it.
Rep. Gabbard is so cute. “shame”?? That’s no longer a Republican characteristic.
A more fruitful investigation would center on the Santos birth certificate or grant of citizenship. If Santos couldn’t show that he was an American citizen, it would be game over, right there.

I don’t know what the lesson here is for us on the left. Another reminder that we are playing a game with no rules - just laws - and even those laws are always subject to judicial review.
That it’s really our fault that a Brazilian is sneaking into Congress, given that we boosted a Kenyan all the way into the White House.
And yet, has Representative George ever listed any of these “lies”? Surely, he could at least lie out a bogus list, and reporters would investigate… what am I saying? Reporters would print it verbatim, without question. End of story.
