Defections! Right…the very fate of the Republic on the line and these assholes could care less! There is little doubt about what happened on Jan.6…who was behind it and how the incident took shape. We can hope the truth is somehow gleaned from the rats nest of available information and people testifying under oath…the stonewalling by the nothing- but- excuses GQP IS infuriating and disgraceful …you would love to see these people pay a price for their cowardice.

I think the issue is that a Commission has to be approved by both the House and Senate and if the GOP are going to filibuster anything that comes their way, Rep. Pelosi’s only option is the House-only Select Committee.

Pelosi needs to tell McCarthy and state so publicly that she will not allow ANY Republican House member who voted to overturn any state result on June 6 to serve on this committee since they could face expulsion based on the select committee’s findings. Let the Rs chew on that one for a while.
