Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) prepared a letter in recent days asking Israel’s president for a favor. In a previously unreported letter obtained by TPM, Fetterman asked Israel’s President Isaac Herzog to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “In a world this dangerous, I question whether any democracy can afford to have its head of government spending…

This Fetterman clown is so cooked with his constituency and most of the rest of us.

Fetterman is clearly not right, post-stroke. Netanyahu should be tried in The Hague.

He had issues pre-stroke(s?), but he’s been a danger to himself and others since. Based on the stories I’ve read, it’ll be a miracle if he doesn’t cause a fatal car crash before the end of his term.

He was one of the Chamberlain-esque appeasers with the CR.

Should Fetterman be declared brain dead?

It should not be necessary to point out to a US Senator that if a national leader’s criminal activities become a distraction, the right thing for that leader to do is resign and forever STFU.

Is he crooked or mentally ill? I don’t know the answer but my intuition says the latter.

This ongoing idea that corrupt leaders need absolution, not punishment, for their crimes is idiotic and erodes the concept and practice of civilian government.

Fetterman’s letter to Herzog demonstrates Fetterman going beyond a defense of Israel’s conduct in the war. He’s advocating for Netanyahu personally, using his office to push for the Israeli prime minister’s political survival.

The letter is written on Senate letterhead. It includes Fetterman’s signature, and is written in the style of a personal appeal.

What the heck is wrong with this guy. Pushing for Netanyahu to be pardoned is one thing, but doing so via what was intended to be a secret letter using his position and title as a publicly elected Senator is too much.

“In a world this dangerous, I question whether any democracy can afford to have its head of government spending valuable hours, day after day, in a courtroom rather than the situation room,” Fetterman wrote…

And by this logic, Trump should enjoy criming with impunity!

Fetterman needs to STFU on this.

That stroke obviously did more damage than we thought.

Or maybe, as so many in the past have done, he mis-represented himself really well. The stroke is a cover-up for who he was all along.

When will Trump issue a Fetterman alt coin?

Someone should remind"Fester" why Bibi is currently in the dock.

D’s are stuck with a genocide & bribery loving senator incapable of standing up to or even recognizing a war criminal. Best case scenario is Fetterman becomes completely incapacitated or worse so Josh Shapiro can name his replacement. Worse case scenario is Fetterman continues his strange dalliance with a genocidal maniac while doing everything in his present partially incapacitated state to support Trump & MAGA.

I’m taking blood pressure pills so I hope to avoid the kind of stroke that makes you support corruption and war crimes.
