To this day, I can recall Am Hist instructors saying all this and the substance of your comment.

Huh? How did he get his depression ‘into remission’? Can I get the same treatment? Please? All I want is my depression to go into remission! Help!

I am a Pennsylvania voter, and I look forward to his continued improvement with ongoing psychiatric care, psychological counseling, and intensive speech and language therapy. He is not done getting better, and he should have all the supports he needs to continue moving forward.

Finally, a feel-good story with some hope in it. Including a fresh helping of genuine humanity tossed into the recipe. Something that this experiment in a republic could use for a real change around here.

I suspect his depression was/is acute and caused by stress of hardly having time to recuperate after a stroke and being frustrated by slowness of his recovery in a fast paced lifestyle and not a more ingrained years long depression.

Remission is good word. Like a cancer survivor in remission, it doesn’t mean there isn’t ongoing care and constant monitoring and known likely hood of recurrence that will be important to catch early
