The EDNY covers Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties). It’s literally walking distance across the Brooklyn Bridge from the SDNY which is in lower Manhattan. Since crossing the river at any of the various bridges and tunnels changes venue from one office to the other, turf battles are not uncommon. This development will do nothing to improve the relationship between the two offices.
