Headed to SCOTUS, for sure.

Now we’ll see how stacking SCOTUS works out for Trump.

I was right – plaintiffs lacked standing.
Great minds.
Obviously.

I doubt they’ll bother with this. Once, twice, three times a loser…

Also not timely -the drive through voting was set up during the summer. The plaintiff waited until last Friday to object.

Houston: We don’t have a problem.
That judge is a cabeza case who was looking for a way to toss 'em, but, in the end, he didn’t want to crawl into the kennel with that dog.
Deference is the watchword now.

It’ll get to them, whether they just reject it without a hearing and let stand the inevitable Appeals Court ruling that the ballots are valid is a different matter.

If headed anywhere it should be the House. As Scalia said in 2000 this should not be seen as a precedent.

This said, he just had to, just had to, say he would have injoined drive in voting tomorrow, if they had standing.
Judge Hanan is a partisan hack. Not conservative, just an activist partisan. Yet, the law was so clear here, that this was the best he could do.
My guess is that had he done anything else, the fascist 5th Cir would have affirmed, but the Supreme Court would have overturned it immediately.

Correction: In the end, he found that there were just too many flaws for him to find in their favor and not be immediately overturned.
But he damn well tried.

It’s a euphemism … Jesus.

It is probably too late to get to the 5th Circuit. They would be really hard pressed to throw out 125000 ballots retroactively.

Are we allowed to vote wearing roller skates? Asking for a friend.

In my state you can. Fill out your mail-in ballot at home, strap on the roller skates, and skate to the drop box or post office. Easy peasy.

Yes, that was a good call.

Not at all. Wait for Wednesday when the lawsuits start pouring in to stop counting, invalidate votes already counted, etc.
Shitstorm of the century begins Wednesday morning.

By now I was supposed to be voting without getting out of my jet-pack.

Ah, you’ve been to L.A. recently.

These type of voter repression lawsuits aren’t working for the Rs. They are now down to counting on the Trumpanzie Taliban blocking roads (which only hurts them), and Trump’s telegraphed “premature electulation”.
