Fed Judges, Including Trump Appointee, Rip Trump Camp’s Attempt To Muck With PA Biden Win

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A federal appeals court in Philadelphia on Friday rejected President Donald Trump’s latest effort to challenge the election results in a case that could reach the U.S. Supreme Court if Trump appeals.

If anybody on SCOTUS dissents from rejecting an appeal, the case for expanding the court when we’re capable of doing so only grows.

You'll likely hear a lot in the coming days about filings before #SCOTUS. Justice Alito (as Circuit Justice for the Third Circuit) may even order PA to respond.

But anyone who tells you that the Justices are going to do anything more with today's ruling is selling something.

So, which would be more humiliating?

SCOTUS rejecting the case outright, or SCOTUS taking the case and voting it down?

It’s a bit frustrating that we feel it’s an open question what the Republican Supreme Court could do with a Trump election case that ends up in front of it. If the law is actually followed there should be no doubt, but they are already showing that the law isn’t as important as their political agenda, one that they will pursue despite the consequences to the nation.

This case should be laughed out of court, any court, simply because it’s nothing but venting about losing the election. The lawyers really should be sanctioned for putting it forward, as clogging the courts with cases lacking any evidence or standing is bad for the system. We’ll soon see if the law rules in this case, or if politics and power are what matter.

If Ellis thinks SCOTUS will take up a case denied by an Appeals court for lack of evidence she is dumber than Trump Junior. Guessing she says this because the dotard says it to her all the time.

Ooh, that’s a tough one! Not granting cert at all would probably be more humiliating. If they took the case, that would give it some legitimacy. If they refuse to hear it, it’s like they told him he isn’t even important enough for the case to be heard, despite his probable belief (given the transactional nature of his world view) that they owe him.

Trump and The Repub Congress, in my belief, are Fascist pigs.
My State Senator, Regan, State Rep Rothman, are low bred POSs who are Trump suck-ups.
Regan is one of the jerkoffs who went to Gettysburg so you all know what crap we are dealing with in the Harrisburg area.

Just read it.

It’s a thing of beauty. Tightly written but a comprehensive and only slightly understated beatdown.

With extra points for “jot and tittle.”

Well they should be made to pay. But a Court will have to issue sanctions, and so far (much to my surprise) no court has yet ordered Rule 11 sanctions.

This said, the opinions are getting more and more pointed, and more critical by the day. My guess is only not wanting to drag it out is protecting Trump’s legal team from sanctions. And the lawyers and client get sanctioned, they have to pay (and then get it from their client) as it is a court order, backed by contempt powers.

And as everyone says - even as ideological and political of a court as Trump’s 5 fascists on the US Supreme Court, is not buying Trump’s load of crap. Alito may ask for a response to Trump’s filing (signifying nothing) but any motion there will be denied.
