The FBI raided Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida on Monday in a search related to (according to the New York Times) the ex-president’s handling of White House records that he was supposed to turn over at the end of his presidency.

Twitter is a sea of GQP peeps with a case of the vapors over a lawfully served search warrant. They are harrumphing over the injustice of it all. Apparently they were asleep when communities of color were being invaded, unlawfully, all this time. I am thinking of a particular case in Louisville… crickets.

Has the name of the judge who signed the warrant been released? I saw someone say it was Trump appointed judge but I don’t know if that’s true or false. Can judges’ names be concealed for fear of their safety? Whichever judge signed this warrant is definitely going to come under threat.

Will the search warrant and supporting affidavits/application be released to the media or has that been sealed for a compelling government interest? I would imagine there’s a scramble going on to be first to get it.
I’m fond of keeping in mind that polarization works both ways. So if the MAGAt nation wants to turn up the heat, with stochastic or actual terrorism, they can answer to the increasing “squish” support Trump and the Confederate GQP Party now enjoy in suburbs and exurbs across the country. That soft support could dry up just in time for November.
Search warrants really aren’t my thing, but the actual warrant is likely to be disclosed by the Trump side in the next 24-72 hours. Fat Boy doesn’t get the supporting documents, so they’ll stay underground until they’re moot.
