The FBI’s Portland field office was forced to debunk rampant conspiracy theories Friday that left-wing extremists had set the wildfires currently engulfing hundreds of thousands of acres in Oregon.

Unfortunately, a man was apparently arrested and charged in Washington on Wednesday with starting a fire, who had allegedly previously been picked up with weapons at a BLM rally a few years ago. Right-wing social media is all over that story. That is likely sufficient to keep the “ZOMG Antifa!” rumors going.

Cui bono? The same guy who benefits from all of the other Antifa rumors. It’s easy to find where he lives–it’s a big white house in Washington, DC.

Apparently Antifa invaded the suburbs so hard that they went right on through to the other (country)side. Once there, start fires natch.

Unfortunately, thanks to Donnie, the FBI will not be viewed as a credible authority on this by the knuckle-dragging tinfoil hat demographic.

Fascists blaming fires on anti-fascists has a bit of a history to it.

Not really. Dwarfed by everything around it. Sad. Pathetic.

Trump will have it razed during his second term and replaced with a gleaming golden tower, higher than the Washington monument, to symbolize to the world our greatness. With TRUMP spelled out in 100-foot-high letters.

Soros had the fires set because he invested heavily in 3M during covid, but the discouragement of sales of N-95 masks has left a glut of those in his warehouses.

Gotta get sales somewhere.

The Monsters Have Arrived on Maple Street.

Rod Serling used space aliens to create his nightmare. He knew all too well, however, we’d create our own terrors with little provocation.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices…to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill…and suspicion can destroy…and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own – for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

None of the linked articles say which man was found to have weapons at a BLM rally, or if he was a BLM supporter OR if he was one of the armed goons that come to protest BLM. Where did you get that information?
Of course the hysterical right-wingers will assume that it will be a BLM supporter, just like they claim that every mass shooter is a leftie…until it is proven that it is always some rightwing nutcase.

Actually, their involvement was less direct: Their invasion of the suburbs necessitated the diversion of federal agents from their ongoing forest-sweeping duties.

Thanks trump. Your lying, support of conspiracy theory and this Qanon crap is costing people their property and more importantly their lives because first responders must deal with bullshit calls for aid from Q supporters
This is your BS donald. You are doing to Ametica what you did to your casinos.
