Leading infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci on Monday said that President Donald Trump’s health could still worsen in the coming days despite his improved appearance after returning to the White House from a hospital stay for coronavirus.

In certain situations, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allows companies to provide their experimental drugs to people outside of clinical trials. This is referred to as compassionate use . But getting access to not-yet-approved drugs through a compassionate use request can be a long and challenging process.

Trump appears emboldened to tell Americans even more explicitly than ever not to fear catching coronavirus because “we have the best medicines in the world.”
His entire purpose seems to be to trivialize anybody else putting themselves in mortal damage or losing their life.
What drives Donnie to embrace that outcome is an open question, whether it actually serves some general interest in a twisted way or is simply for his ghoulish delight in other’s passing.
And he has achieved the effect of demoralizing the entire WH cadre of personnel.

I am so sorry for you having to deal with these terrorists…
I am feeling most sorry for the White House staff, especially in the residence. Many have worked there for years as butlers, housekeepers, valets, cooks, waiters, etc… and many are African American. They work in a hot spot and then have to go home to their families every night. I don’t give a shit about his swarm of asslickers in the West Wing. I do care very much about these people, many are DC residents and don’t even have representation in Congress.
Fauci is a remarkable, courageous, and tenacious public servant. When the Trump Regime is over, I want a Presidential Medal of Freedom for him.
And the odds of a reversal are likely higher in someone taking a Steroid. How many others who relapsed after 5-7 days besides Trump got steroids? I bet that number approaches 0.
Here we have a President and his enablers who are claiming that covid-19 is not dangerous. Not as bad as you think? Really? Approximately 208,000 US citizens have died from covid-19 (and I’m willing to bet that is an underestimation of the true total owing to reporting politics in ‘red states’) with 125,000 deaths attributed to the poor decisions by the President and his administration. Meanwhile, he and the Republicans are doing everything they can to cut basic health care protections for the population.
They don’t care - they’ve convinced their base that they should be aggrieved as “others less worthy are getting things they are not”, further flaming racial divisions, and that’s all that is important for them to stay in power. They also are wealthy enough to have the best health care available and simply aren’t concerned about gutting it for others. Too bad for others…
And we still do not sufficient PPE and basic health supplies, a plan for the flu season or one for the second covid-19 wave. Furthermore, this administration has corrupted, through incompetent political appointments, the reputation of the fundamental medical advisory/regulatory agencies of this Nation. And they want to push through a vaccine without following medical and scientific protocols?
It remains a challenge to treat this President as a serious adult based on his actions and words, and I think we have deferred to the Office for far too long. Regardless of what he claims, facts are facts (they can be verified), and that frightens him as it exposes him for what he truly is. Stay safe, follow best medical advice (NOT what the President claims), and vote in November.

He was just so hopped up on the “best medicines” they’d packed him full of to get him out of the hospital that he probably actually believed it.

(My brother was operated on for a deviated septum many years ago, and a few days later the wound opened. They stuck a swab up his nose soaked with something to staunch the bleeding and anesthetize the wound — he swears it was undiluted coke, but I doubt it —and he swears to this day it was worth having to return to emergency for that…)
