Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser who previously served on ex-President Donald Trump’s COVID-19 task force, asserted on Friday morning that there were deadly consequences to the previous administration’s dishonesty on the pandemic.

Well, that’s Fauci. He doesn’t look for trouble, but if you ask him a question he’ll answer. Glad he’s here with the rest of us in the Promised Land.

In the summer I posted a study suggesting at the time of its release that Rump’s and his administrations lack of response had already caused most of the deaths. Their inaction has to be called criminal. That goes for McConnell and others.
So after he’s convicted by the Senate, Letitia James and Cy Vance, when will the TrumPandemic Tribunals begin?
A reasonable estimate would be to look at Canada, which has done a so-so job, really. They’ve had 18,000 deaths so far, with a population 1/10 that of the US. That would translate to around 180,000 deaths if the US had done even an adequate job vs the over 400,000 so far.
Dr. Fauci was almost giddy at yesterday’s press conference.
It’s like at Thanksgiving, when you’re finally allowed to sit at the grown-up table.
Another thing Trump can brag about… most Americans died on his watch.
His face has grown lighter, he almost beams. There were shadows before, a darkness, and we know full well why. We are so lucky Trump’s gone. He was leading us to hell .
If Hillary was President the death toll would have been in half. She would have lost reelection and we would have a republican President and congress now.
Even bad news sounds good when it’s the truth. How refreshing.
I am Canadian. Let me say, we should have even fewer deaths but we also have Provincial Premiers that are Cons.
He did. As @26degreesrising points out, he seemed to be beaming. I don’t know how the lighting for the press conference changed, but comparisons between the pictures of him earlier and those yesterday look like a person who had been ill and is now recovered.
