Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), said on Friday morning that Americans shouldn’t expect their self-quarantines amid the COVID-19 outbreak to end anytime soon.
“I cannot see that all of a sudden, next week or two weeks from now, it’s going to be over,” he continued. “I don’t think there’s a chance of that. I think it’s going to be several weeks.”
Several weeks usually equals some quantity of months. He was going to say that but remembered he still has a mortgage and one kid in college.
Now not-a-scientist Kevin McCarthy is bitching that Gavin Newsom didn’t consult him on the CA stay home order. Can’t see why, McCarthy is usually such a voice of calm, reasoned judgment.
The US is throwing out number like confetti. We need more specifics. How about reporting on the number of people who have been infected but have recovered. Where is the balanced reporting?
