Pence backed down from his idle threat.

Fauci doesn’t really say that.

Pence gets bucked on an hourly basis. It’s part of his being a submissive bitch.

When I left NY three weeks ago for the West Coast of Florida no one was wearing masks and people were wary but not really keeping their distance. Florida transformed while I was there and all facilities were shut down. Even on the beach everyone waved but no one got close. Returning in a nearly empty plane New Yorker’s now look like the Lone Ranger or the Invisible Man and no one gets close. That seems to have made a real difference in the numbers getting infected. Hope its a trend.
Peace!

“Squeeel!”

I bet Pence wears tidy whities just like Ned did…

Right, but extra large, so they can fit over the chastity belt Mother Pence makes him wear.

“We are hoping that, at the end of the month, we could look around and say, OK, is there any element here that we can safely and cautiously start pulling back on? If so, do it,” Fauci said. “If not, then just continue to hunker down. And that’s what, at least for me standpoint of the public health aspect, that we look at.”

If this were any more indeterminate, Fauci could be Shroedinger’s cat.

So we get no PPE, no testing to screen carriers, no way to know that a return to work will not further endanger workers’ families, and the losses we have sustained were no BFD to Trumpski. I’m thinking there is going to have to be at least one good reason before people want to go back to work and shop.

Considering there is absolutely no way any of the figures we have are even the slightest bit accurate, and that reporting in Red States will be doubly or trebly fudged, this is all moot. I can see how Fauci has kept his job through different administrations.

America will not only have suffered more than almost any country, it will also suffer the biggest second wave of deaths, and all due to this happy crap. I can see twice the foot traffic outside my window over last week.

Everything about this has been a balls up. It will continue to be exactly that. Trump has ruined the country with lies, and killed thousands personally. Shit, he’s broken the game of Bridge.

However, Fauci argued that it’s difficult to make predictions due to how “they always get thrown back at you if it doesn’t happen”

Well, you could always try being a stockbroker.

It is not really suprising that google comes up empty for “chastity cod-pieces”…

I’m pretty sure he wears temple garments, just in case.

I do not think you can talk realistically about any return until we ramp up testing to about a thousandfold of what we are doing now. There is a lot we need to understand about how long the virus can be transmitted, how durable the immunity is from having contracted the disease, etc. Without the basic knowledge of who has been infected, who is currently contagious, and who has never been exposed there is no return to any kind of normalcy.

“It’s going to be depending where you are in the country, the nature of the outbreak that you have already experienced, and the threat of an outbreak that you may not have experienced,” Fauci said, before adding that it won’t be a “one size fits all” scenario due to how the severity of the outbreak differs throughout parts of the country.

IOW, it will be left up to the Governors to decide what’s best for the American people.
