If I’m not mistaken, both Powell and Chesebro were supplied with full discovery from the prosecution.
They saw the writing on the wall: multiple years in a Georgia state prison for both of them, should they continue to trial.
That discovery evidence must be a DOOZY for a loud-mouthed know-it-all narcissist like Sidney Powell to allow herself to be subjugated like this.

Can’t say I like the news, but it fits so much of our present circumstances. Gross brats run large organizations, parts of our government and receive media attention.
And, these bad leaders make people worse, like good leaders make people better, both individually and as a whole.

The GOP at some unknown point must come to realize that compromise with those they hate is the only way forward.

The story from Chesebro’s attorney makes sense. Why inflame the cult members before he testifies? No lawyer is going to jeopardize the safety of his client be telling the news outlets how much dirt he has on trump.

I’m clueless about linking paywalled articles – Sunday’s Washington Post had a LONG article about Jim Jordan and what went on at Ohio State. When the men’s and women’s FENCING coach knew about Strauss’ behavior that means EVERYONE knew that Strauss was a serial abuser, and Jim Jordan shut his eyes and ears to it. Abusers know who is the most vulnerable, and who doesn’t think that athletes on scholarship AREN’T vulnerable? One injury could end their scholarship and end their education.

You vastly overestimate the ability of the Trumplican Party (which encompasses all the former GOP) to learn.
In their fantasy world, cooperating with Democrats is the greatest sin imaginable. Therefore, no “solution” they arrive at will remotely involve reaching out to Democrats. If it does, their entire fragile current existence, imagined and real, will crumble.
Not gonna happen.
