Fake Trump Elector Now On Track To Take Over Wisconsin Elections Commission

Well F their feelings, then.

Nor can they - or anyone else - find any evidence of it (other than their feelings about it, that is - which, for them, is evidence enough).

Can he go to jail for this? Assuming that the Meekly Garland find the spine to prosecute, I mean.

The departing Republican commissioner, Dean Knudson, announced his resignation during a meeting with the declaration that “I cannot be effective in my role representing Republicans on the commission,” per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
… … … … …
I think he was “told” to leave so trump could control the board/

Where is the fucking DOJ on this? How it possible that over a year since they fradulently represented themselves as presidential electors – an office to which they were by no one appointed – they are still not under any investigation or legal jeopardy at all?

I have a feeling that if I pretended to be my town’s dog catcher I would end up in a prison or a hospital right quick. Why can they just submit forged papers for the highest office in the land and get nothing but winks and attaboys?

…I’m gonna gitcha, gitcha, gitcha, gitcha

Wow – I’m sorry I didn’t get the irony/snark. When a state deletes their required “public data sources,” it is beyond my understanding. I understand filing law suits no longer does any good in this state of Wisconsin, or any other state for that matter. Can we now be considered a “failed nation” as well? And, mind you, this is not snark.

Thanks! Could be the problem in Wisconsin is so big that it’s hard to see – or maybe just hard to believe.

your post reminded me of the old bumper stickers that used to say “God said it, I believe it, That settles it”. Remember those? Mabye they’re still around, but I don’t see them anymore. But anyhow, you’re right and you nailed it on the head. :+1:

“… one of the fake Trump electors in the MAGA scheme to overturn the 2020 election, now appears poised to become the chair of the six-member board after a fellow GOP commissioner abruptly resigned on Wednesday.”

How can someone participate in an illegal scheme to defraud a presidential election and then get to Chair an Election Commission in a state? Shouldn’t that person…you know…be arrested or charged with a crime or something?

WITAF? :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Hope he’s indicted by the federal grand jury the DOJ appoints for their investigation!

I feel that all the fake electors should be executed for treason.

Wisconsin voter registration totals for March 1, 2019, are here:
https://elections.wi.gov/node/6450

Voting totals for March 2019 Supreme Court election are here:
https://ballotpedia.org/Wisconsin_Supreme_Court_elections,_2019

I didn’t find a reference for percentage voter turnout, but information from the above sources provide the data you need to calculate it.

By my rough calculation (dividing 1,205,000 votes by 3,416,000 registered voters), there was about 35 percent turnout.

That’s relatively low, and surprising to me, in light of the extremely critical nature of the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s political makeup. But it’s better than “single digits.”

I should not have to add that it’s risky to throw out imaginary statistics in a blog read by serious people.

Thanks but that doesn’t include results for the period I recall seeing extreme low turnout. I’m only seeing voter registration stats at the dot-gov site. I’d already found and posted the 2019 results, which were that low after Wisconsinites started turning out in larger numbers. And Ballotpedia doesn’t include all results – at least I wasn’t able to find older results there for off-year elections and/or spring elections (on- and off-year). That was one of the places I looked.

(edited after I realized this didn’t contain the missing data)

“And so whether there was fraud or not, that’s really irrelevant,”

How can this be perceived as anything but giving whiners validation?
Every sore loser thinks they got cheated at first; some of them grudgingly figure out they just plain lost, but others go on blaming refs or judges or anything but their own failure.
These old Republicans don’t realize they are just protecting their spoiled inner-child with this kind of aspect.
It is nothing more than spoiled children having a tantrum because they didn’t get something they want.
They are simply LOSERS WHO WON’T GIVE IT UP!
And they make statements like that one without even realizing just how much it exposes their crybaby nature.
As long as two of them agree to their hate, they think themselves a majority.
