Failed Michigan GOP Guv Candidate Sentenced To Prison On Jan 6 Charges

Let’s hop back to another lifetime for a second.

Back in May 2022, my former TPM colleague Matt Shuham was one of the first to report on the ever-widening fraudulent signature scandal that engulfed the Republican primary in the state’s gubernatorial race.

frist.

“Prosecutors sought at least a three month sentence.”
"U.S. District Judge Christopher R. Cooper suggested he wasn’t sure Kelley was “truly remorseful.”
“Cooper ultimately sentenced Kelley to 60 days in prison.”

OK, so the Judge didn’t think Kelley was remorseful, so sentences him to 1/3 of the prosecutors’ requested sentence?

And, some kittens.

Kelley got 60 days. That’s nice but not nearly as many days as I’d have given him.

New Poll Shows RFK Jr. Siphoning Votes From Trump

In a potential presidential re-match, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump remain competitive with Biden scoring just three points more among registered voters nationally. However, when Robert F. Kennedy Jr. factors into the equation, Biden opens up a 7-percentage point lead over Trump among the national electorate. Kennedy’s presence erodes Trump’s lead among independents and cuts into his support among Republicans. Trump’s loss among his base is double the loss Biden experiences among Democrats.

Now THAT is good news.

Errr, 60 days is 2/3rd, not 1/3rd of 90 days…

That’s always the risk when you introduce a chaos agent into your midst. You can’t be certain the chaos won’t spray back in your own face and stomp on your toes.

What is it with the federal judiciary and their collective inability to sentence J6 defendants to AT LEAST the minimum being recommended by the DOJ? I’ve got to say I’m losing faith in our system of checks and balances.

Thank you, Judge Cooper.

Yep, another one headed to jail. While 60 days isn’t much, it’s better than a fine and probation.

So there is news that Biden is going to ask for $100,000,000,000 for aid to Israel. That’s 100 billion dollars. Even by Washington standards that’s a lot of money. If my calculations are correct, that is $10,000 per Israeli. (10,000,000 people in Israel.)

I wonder how much Palestinians are getting?

Cooper ultimately sentenced Kelley to 60 days in prison.
A light sentence considering he participated in a coup against the state, which usually results in a terminal type sentence in other countries.

In the cover picture, the guy in the red coat looks like he’s straight from central casting.

As Birdie J in The Glass Onion so directly and straightforwardly observed: WHAT IS REALITY?

Given the QAnon obsession with dead Kennedys and ivermectin, it’s not surprising that the cult finds this shiny new object worthy of being their next God Emperor.

What’s the current polling on Trump’s new mean name for RFK jr?

It’ll trickle down

We’ll find out tomorrow. We are on the hook for the hospital and all the dead people WHETHER OR NOT Israel did it. I think (believe) they did not because Al-Jazeera’s report was deleted.

So somebody knows something.
