That works for me

I was thinking more along the lines of the Indian Ocean, rather than Wuhan. Around the same place we dumped bin Laden.

Hate to even bring this topic up, but if he keeps outdoing himself with each passing day, someone who isn’t firing on all cylinders might decide God (or Lucifer Morning Star?) ordered them to off Trump’s ass. I am absolutely not suggesting anyone do such a thing, but merely suggesting that Trump brings out the worst in people.

He went on to accuse the four lawyers of “prosecutorial misconduct” and being “rogue prosecutors” on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The new abnormal. Just wait until he’s re-elected.

You know, I used to just want his stupid TV show to be cancelled. Now I wish he would stroke out and become a complete vegetable instead of the partial vegetable he is now.

It’s going to take a lot of work - and Republicans are going to have to be part of that work - to keep our institutions of government and democracy functioning at a level sufficient to withstand Trump’s, Barr’s, and McConnell’s continued attacks and attempts to dismantle them. Just leaving things to the next election, which will likely not be legit, is not enough. I’m not sure what it takes at this point, but calm patience and trust in the electoral system working are not it.

Yup, not a danger. When he starts throwing people in jail for disagreeing with him, will they clutch their pearls?

Generally not a good idea to rail about the judge BEFORE sentencing.

Beheaded and then ridden out of town on a rail.

All of them. Not just these few. All of them. Even Romney (he was only half right).

Never. Ever. Let a single one of these traitors off the hook. To hell with each and every fucking one of them.

The bottom line question for Trump’s enablers and excusers:

Is it OK to lie under oath?

That’s it. There’s no daylight in between the answers yes or no.

For dressing, add is it ok to lie under oath, especially if you’ve put your hand in the Bible.

What else did we expect? He had the medals stripped from the prosecutors in that Navy SEAL war crimes case as well.

The US Marshals Service. There was a Supreme Court case in the 1870s (I think) in which a man was threatening a Supreme Court justice, who was assigned a marshal for protection. When the man tried to kill the justice, the marshal killed him. There was no specific statute permitting such an act, but the court let the marshal off. As one of my professors put it, “The Constitution does not declare open season on federal judges.”

If we make it through this and get a democratic administration and, possibly, Congress - and I have serious doubts no matter how many people vote to extricate us from this terrible moment in history - people have got to go to jail, starting with Trump. It’s not retribution or revenge, it’s not personal … it’s justice, and re-setting the bar where it needs to be.
