Experts Say Foreign Governments Are ‘Playing Trump’ on Tariffs

Trump doesn’t care if any of this works. He went home to play golf. The fools here are the republicans in Congress who will not stand up to him. Of course our friends and neighbors who voted for him have to take responsibility as well.

American Democracy was good (for some), but it’s faults have now been ruthlessly exploited by enemies, foreign and domestic. Rebuilding on the ashes will require a wholesale rewriting of the consitution and our system of government.

Consider that since the storming of the Bastile in 1789 France has had:

  • 2 empires under Napoleon
  • A restored monarchy
  • Signed 15 consitutional frameworks
  • And 5 distinct official republics

I dont know what the end should/will look like for us, but we cannot continue with this system of government as it was/is.

No, easy as pi. This is the court that decided there could not possibly be any corruption caused by permitting unlimited campaign contributions, and that massive bribes were actually “tips” and thus a-okay. Plus, there’s always “You don’t have standing”, which is so useful in throwing out important cases without a judgment.

By “signing” “deals”, those other countries give Trump the congratulatory headlines he craves and which support his power, his further abuse of it, and encourage him to be increasingly outrageous.

Sure, they screwed him on the “deal”. But rather than stopping him, it’s encouraged him and bolstered his approval among Americans – look how successful The President is!!* screams the once-serious media.

Meanwhile, TACO Trump has given a 90 day TACO to Mexico (maybe he thinks Pres Scheinbaum is hot), and a week’s TACO to everybody else.

I presume you mean Miller had them removed because the mirrors were no use to him, as he can’t see himself in them?

We lived for 249 years on Constitution version 0.7.27. It’s still just a beta.

But it will require a complete rewrite.

President Trump should order submarines, B2, heavy artillery and other materiel and personnel to Sweden as well. The American military should launch an invasion and drop bunker-busting gifts to compel them to give our President Nobel Peace Prizes for Economics, Medicine, and Peace.

Trump is using tariffs to extort money from corporations and countries and to transfer the tax burden from the wealthy to the poor and middle class consumer. Nothing Trump and the republicans do is on behalf of Americas majority.

To understand just how much bribery Trump imagines in his trade tariff exemption scam, note the sheer vastness of the Harmonized System for trade classification, which in advanced economies breaks down to 8-digit not 6-digit levels due to the complexity.

The HS trade classification system is structured into approximately 5,000 commodity groups at the 6-digit level, which are further organized into 21 sections, 97 chapters, 1,200+ headings, and 5,600+ subheadings. This system, created by the World Customs Organization (WCO), provides a uniform method for classifying goods in international trade.

So how do you pay Trump or his affiliates for an exemption without being noticed? Even if you pay in crypto, your competitors will find out pretty quickly that you got an exemption. Thus, every category in every country exporting to the US has to coordinate their bribes. This system is going to fall apart real quick. The whole point of bribes and protection money is to keep it on the down low so as not to attract attention. And it can even get more insane if the exemption treatment is uneven from country to country and firm to firm.

After all, the submarines are in the vicinity and can be put to use. Our President deserves more Nobel Prizes than that old Polish lady Marie who got sick from radioactivity and the Linus guy (Lucy’s brother from the Peanuts cartoon?) who was doing chemistry and peace.

That said, our pedo will only get $3M if he wins all three Prizes. He can make a lot more money faster by extorting and threatening jihadi Kings of the Middle East, CBS, ABC, the British media, Rupert Murdoch’s WSJ, elite NYC and DC law firms,

Even better (for the scammer), he thinks that he’s the sharp one.

This jerk of a thug is not even any good at thuggery. His victims, nations around the world, are laughing at him. Unfortunately the people who are really going to get hurt by his mindless stupidity continue to support him, either directly, or by not dragging him out of the White House and throwing him naked into rush hour traffic on the nearest expressway. In a hundred years I would love to be around to read about the Defenestration of Trump. Can we drop him from the roof of Trump Tower to see if he bounces? There should be a permanent mob surrounding the White House until this idiot and all his brownnose asskissers are dragged out of there (yes, including Vance and that little twit over in the House pretending to be an American Speaker of the House). Let’s skip the psychiatric analysis of that bag of hot air and dump him naked in the jungles of deepest darkest Africa. Let him loudmouth his way out of that. And if someone grabs him there and demands ransom, the only proper reply is prolonged, outright laughter.

“I know that Donald Trump defies gravity in lots of ways, but I’m pretty confident that at some point the politics of raising prices on American consumers begins to hurt his administration politically. So what some people are calling a win now, I think, is going to redound against them later.”

If there is a more polite, roundabout way to say “complete utter bullshit” I’ve never seen it. I almost makes cow patties seem dignified, although not a whit less smelly.
