Not true actually. Roberts doesn’t have the spine. Presidents can be found in contempt. He can’t be incarcerated but any cabinet official acting on orders contrary to the court order can. Heavy fines can be levied until anything Donnie owns can be garnished. But that would take a Chief Justice with spine.

Three justices, Alito, Kavanaugh and Thomas, voted to give Trump the Tariffs, which would have basically made him god-emperor of the USA. The other three ‘conservatives’ are unpredictable. The Constitution is gone - look at the loss of the Emoluments clause - every clause can be interpreted out of existence the same way at any time.
The SCOTUS succession, wherein they can choose to retire and pass their seat to another partisan stooge and thereby maintain their hold on things, makes that branch unreformable for many decades, if not forever. We are doomed.

Congress has the power to reform the court. The court must be made larger. Not a few seats larger, but much larger, large enough to make partisan capture nearly impossible, 21 seats or more. Congress has the power to do it.

The anecdotal disclosure of human rights abuses/crimes against humanity in the US immigration enforcement and deportation process has to continue. For every case being pursued there are people… citizens and non-citizens, undocumented and legally present, men, women and children… who have disappeared into the system. Whereabouts, living conditions and health status unknown. ‘Lack of due process’ doesn’t begin to describe what has happened and is happening. Keep the investigation and information flowing.
