Huh…these leopards eat offices, not just faces. Who knew?

Unfortunately you don’t need to know Jack Fuck in order to burn everything down, all you need to know is how to buy a gallon of gas and a Bic lighter.

At this point I think the rich need to be turned upside down and taken for every penny they own or control.

Seize musks assets, all of them, then lock him up in cage someplace where people can pass by and spit and mock and piss on him, for about 50 years after his carcass has turned to bones and dust.

That’s just what I think, not what can happen.

When Trump took the oath to “faithfully execute” the office, did anyone explain to him what “execute” meant?

REPUBLICANism: We must destroy the Constitution to save the government.

To hear Republicans tell it, the United States of America isn’t worth $10 million.

The Defenders represented a ton of J6ers, including middle and even upper class ones. You qualify for a Fed Pub Def if you’d be wiped out financially to defend against the Federal charges brought. Your income and assets relative to the poverty line don’t matter, only the charges do in relation to your resources.

People forget the Chief Justice heads up the Judiciary’s policy making and administration of its own branch. He presents to the public as above the fray of such non-SCOTUS matters, but in fact he carefully installs people and tracks issues to ensure they lead to correct, preferably non-public outcomes.

These letters went out last week, yet even today the spokesman had nothing to say as the Chief Justice remains silent. These aren’t judges, just defenders and probation officers. NBD if they have to go through a few things to save the rest of the Judicial Branch.

Yes: If the rule of law is ever restored Musk will be facing a Shit Ton of criminal exposure. Hence, Musk will NEVER allow the rule of law to be restored.

When all his children come for their slice of pie, I’ll bet Musk will show everyone plenty of “rule of law” ; - )

It’s been three weeks now. So far the destruction has been mostly effecting government employees and agency internal operations. I’m guessing next week failure of government services to the population will start to be felt. Curious to see the reactions.

Today somehow puts me in mind of a scene in a film about revolution and suppression, the title of which escapes me, wherein an obscure intersection is controlled by a small contingent of soldiers ‘interviewing’ the pedestrian traffic. Ed Harris plays the officer in charge of the ‘interviewing’. Periodically, someone is taken from the road and summarily executed. Harris explains his methodology, "See, I’ve got this box full of pictures, newspaper clippings, snapshots, you know, anything. And when I find a face on the road we shoot the motherfucker.’

edit: The film, it seems, was Under Fire (1983) Not surprisingly, I recommend it.

GSA leases generally stipulate they can cancel and vacate with nearly zero penalty. It’s the price of doing business with the federal gov’t and typically GSA leases are regarded as very secure in valuations. This will change and all the owners with GSA leases should be very worried.

This is going to screw over so many CRE owners, mostly office but some industrial as well. Right when the office market is getting hammered too. This will impact lending too, as banks will start to look twice at buildings with a heavy GSA occupancy. Historically seen as a positive attribute with the highest tenant quality, it will now be seen as very risky as they just start cutting leases haphazardly.

No problem. Just re-purpose them as Migrant Detention Centers and Re-Education Camps for Liberals.

TPM was able to independently confirm that dozens of federal public defender offices have received the GSA notice about potentially terminating their government office leases.

So when does the Trump Administration yank the lease for the Supreme Court Building and U.S. Capitol?

There isn’t a lease for these building because they are owned by the U.S. government, you say? Then you haven’t seen the latest Trump EO transferring ownership over to TMTG and Tesla to be leased back to the Federal government. /s

Well, the congressional majority, at least, seems to have unanimously signed off on the proposition that a Congress is not necessary when you have a Majestic Unitary Executive who will legislate everything himself, no other views needed or asked for. He’s totally taken away their authority in every respect and they seem to be lining up for it. … So, yeah, those elections will be unnecessary.

In the annals of Musk/DOGE illegality, is the government not bound by contract law? If you enter into a lease, let alone 7500 of them, does the other party to the contract not have rights? Do all government contracts have an ‘unless we change our minds’ clause?

They’ll probably follow Trump’s plans for paying such things. … – Just don’t.

In fact, their very existence is probably DOGE-classified as fraud.

I’m confused as to why the letter that was sent out greets the receiver as “Valued Customer”?!?
So did these letters go to agency heads? Or to the landlord? Who do they think is “Valued Customer”?
