Trump officials have circled the federally funded research institution, based in Boulder, Colorado, as a hub for “federal climate alarmism” after it was established decades earlier in 1960 for research in atmospheric chemistry and physical meteorology.
The administration plans to identify and eliminate what it calls “green new scam research activities”

Commenting on a lawsuit filed by a historic preservation group fighting against the construction of the ballroom on the site of the White House’s now-demolished East Wing, Trump told reporters on Tuesday: “We got sued. We’re donating a $400 million ballroom, and we got sued not to build it.”
It is the first suggestion that the total cost for Trump’s ballroom might have ballooned to $400 million

I know exactly where that is. Kevin Trenbirth is one of the top climate scientists who work there. I’ve actually met him and spoken with him about Global Average Temperature and where it’s heading. I don’t think Colorado will let that go.

I gather Karoline Leavitt has allegedly revealed the possible content of Trump’s Oval Office address tonight. Apparently it’s going to be a brag-a-thon about how great Trump is, and the economy, and immigration deportations, and how the U.S. is feared and respected anew in the world. Toss in some Biden slagging, stolen election bullshit, maybe even a whine about Tina Peters. So, an hour of unearned hubris, delusions and delirium. If he wasn’t so repellent to listen to I’d have a go at it, for no other reason than the comedy. But…nah.
