Ex-Trump DHS Chief Joins Trump On MAGA Tour After Briefly Refuting Election Fraud Lies

Chad Wolf, who (maybe illegally) served as ex-President Donald Trump’s acting Homeland Security secretary, is running back into his old boss’s arms despite having rejected his lies about the 2020 election being compromised by fraud.

I know #ETTD, but it’s surprising how many of the deaths are by suicide.

“Wolf also said he’d be “happy to talk to” the House’s select committee on investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. Wolf had resigned several days after the Capitol was stormed.”

Oh, wait, it’s under oath!? Never mind!

More than a few people are fatally curious about how it might feel to be hit by a speeding city bus.

["The former official dodged when MSNBC host Hallie Jackson asked him why he was standing by Trump even though Wolf had declared on Election Day that the race was ‘the most secure election in U.S. history,’ a reality the then-president spent the next several months trying to undermine.

Instead, Wolf told Jackson that he was ‘very proud’ of his service in the Trump administration and bragged about the ‘immigration consequences’ he had brought forth against undocumented immigrants."]

I’ll hand it to Wolf. He chooses the right words. In advance.

all of these Trump sycophants are like mafia members who get out of prison … make statements about “going straight” and “keeping clean” … and then the next thing you know - they’re right back at it … running numbers, selling drugs, hijacking trucks, doing the extortion racket … because it kinda all they know…

Me thinks Chad is having trouble finding a job.

So yet another corrupt ex-Trump official is going to appear with the ex-Prez at another “pay attention to ME” rally.

And this is news because . . . ?

And on a related note, “Alabama officials cancel Trump rally realizing it was a pity party, not a Fourth of July celebration.”

Exactly. For the collaborators that worked in the Trump administration there very limited work opportunities, and they all depend on publicly dropping their pants and bending over for the big leader (other than the humiliation it won’t hurt much).

On Wednesday morning, Wolf appeared on MSNBC to tout Trump’s pay-attention-to-me tour of the southern border in Texas, where Wolf will be joining him to push right-wingers’ “border crisis” narrative about the Biden administration’s immigration policies.

I get that fearmongering over brown people gins up the apoplexy on the right, but it feels like an increasingly stale, tired strategy to go back to. It didn’t work in 2018 and it didn’t work in 2020. It feels like going back to emails, birtherism, and ebola.

Ding, ding, ding!

Even when working for an Insurrectionist ex-POTUS after refuting him. Them’s some Slim Pickens.

And note that he’s willing to court Pelosi’s Committee. After all…it’s just lyin’.

True but it is the only thing they have.
Slightly off topic: Whenever the right uses the racist trope that we’re becoming a third world nation it is because they think brown people make us that way. In reality what makes us a third world nation is el presidente having corrupt business practices and local election officials with the ability to overturn results.
They don’t want democracy they want democracy theater in the service of maintaining the status quo.
