But I have to hope that the words of the insightful philosopher Mike Tyson hold true -
“Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth”
… and hope that one or more of the members of the Trump Administration that will be testifying under oath lays out an incontrovertible recounting of the true criminal level of plotting of a coup - such that there remains no questions regarding the intent to overthrow the government.
This would clear the air a bit - and force the recognition that about 25% of the population would willingly chose to tear down nearly 250 years of constitutional operation and replace it with a ruling totalatrian fascist dictatorship … in the misguided and idiotic believe that said dictator would make everything be the way they want it to be…

Executive privilege belongs to the office of the presidency—not to any person–and only the sitting president can invoke it or allow a previous president to claim it.
