The feds cited a September 2022 letter which Miele allegedly sent to Santos, in which he copped to “faking my identity to a big donor” while describing himself as “high risk, high reward in everything I do.”

It’s not every day that I participate in a criminal fucking conspiracy, but when I do, not only do I confess to doing so in writing, I do so in a way that demonstrates my crime was both knowing and willful, and I then intentionally discharge that document from my direct personal control.

The Santos campaign is like a kid’s lemonade stand version of organized crime.

I have to admit with the Trump indictments coming down, I had forgotten about this obnoxious little miscreant (i.e. Santos). If he has any sense (a fact not in evidence), he’s probably praying that Trump continues to consume all the oxygen in the MSM environment.

"Miele impersonated McCarthy chief of staff Dan Meyer. "

So normally, in such a scenario, one would think that McCarthy and Meyer as the injured parties here would applaud this action. We’ll see. In the crazy Republican Party where it’s been a major 2-1/2 year effort to get Mike Pence to distance himself from Trump who tried to get him killed, we will just have to wait and see what their reactions will be.

How’s that house ethics inquiry going? Santos still a republican house memeber in good standing casting votes.

I would never contribute to Kevin McCarthy, but if I did, I’d be mad as hell that he‘s tolerating calls made by someone claiming to be his chief of staff.

Santos fired Miele after discovering that he had impersonated Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)’s chief of staff on fundraising calls.

Interesting that there was a line even Santos wasn’t willing to cross.

God-tier would have been to append “Now the Feds are sniffing around, and I’m afraid I’m going to get busted. Do you have any ideas for how to keep up the fraud?”, and send it to his lawyer.

Let’s just do it and be legends.

Feds have no need of a cooperating witness against Santos. That man’s goose is fully cooked already.

Miele allegedly earned a 15 percent commission on funds which he raised for the campaign.

Republicans just cannot seem to stop criming. It must be their upbringing. Perhaps it is time to prohibit right-wingers from breeding.
