Ex-Fox News Producer Asks To Correct The Testimony She Gave In Dominion Case

Abby Grossberg — a former Tucker Carlson producer who sued Fox News last week accusing the network of pressuring her into giving misleading testimony about their coverage of supposed election fraud — filed new allegations Monday morning, claiming coercive coaching by Fox lawyers, bias and unprofessional behavior by staff members and retaliation by the network, according to NBC News.

"In the court filing in Delaware, NBC reported, Grossberg asked for an opportunity to correct a September deposition…

Obviously this means people need to send a lot more money to Donald Trump.

How many times do we have to say it? Being truthful is ALWAYS the best policy.

When I was growing up, saying “I don’t recall” when you really did recall was called lying.

At $500 an hour it magically becomes a “legal strategy.”

Fuck Fox’s lawyers, and fuck all of them while we’re at it. They’re nothing but high-paid goons who steal with a fountain pen rather than a handgun.

That’s the sound of millions of defense attorneys’ heads exploding.

FOX News Media’s attorneys engage in privileged communications with our employees as necessary to provide legal advice.

I don’t think coaching your client’s employees to respond “I don’t recall” rises to the level of proprietary, confidential information. And something, something, crime/fraud exception also, too.

There were at least three billing attorneys in the room, and I would guesstimate their blended hourly rate at about $850.

“Wow, we’re in a whole lot of trouble with this Dominion thing.”

“Yeah. How could we possibly make things any worse for us?”

“Well, what about witness tampering?”

“Brilliant!”

I hope she recalls some juicy bits. Bowel loosening bits. I hope fox’s lawyers are sweating and in legal jeopardy.

Attorney-Client communications are not the same as proprietary/confidential communications. The former is an evidentiary objection. The latter gets you sued, notwithstanding the lack of any cognizable monetary damages.

Expecting your employees to play ball isn’t always the wisest move.

Fox News. Imagine the worst, and it’s always even worse than that.

Please. Lawyers are less likely to prosecute another lawyer than a cop is to turn in another cop. They’re members of the club. They get a free pass.

Yeah, in New York. Expect a partner, a senior associate, and a noob to be in that room. Divide their cumulative hourly rates by 3, you end up with $850, which is substantially more than your mastubatory lawyer-hating estimate of $500.

I have a funny feeling Fox is about to get phucked; couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch.

FOX undoubtedly will petition the court to disallow “witness corrections” based upon frivolous things like “truth” and “conscience” and “ethical integrity”.

FOX will insist that they worked long & hard to get this skewed, distorted & inaccurate testimony into the record … so, “no takebacks!”
