Meanwhile, on alternate Earth MJ719, in a fairly unremarkable dimension of the Multiverse, President Hillary Clinton – now in her second term – has just commuted the sentence of convict Donald Trump from life-at-hard-labor to indefinite house arrest inside the janitorial closet of the 53rd Street Women’s Health Clinic.

I look forward to the day when DJT is in prison and we have our first 24/7 news cycle without one damned mention of him.

Completely immaterial.
He showed classified documents to people without the clearances necessary to see it.

Since it was at Mar A Lardo, it’s a good chance it was after.

Not subject to our laws? Izzat reserved for all ex-presidents or just donnie?
Criminally indicted at the state level and again at the federal level. He was arrested and brought to court both times to have te charges read to him. As would happen to anyone subject to our laws. Eventually he will be tried in court. A jury will decide if he walks or not. I think it proper, fair and just that he spend a few years … 5 mebbe … in the pokey. But that’s just my opinion. Stealing classified docs, refusing to return them are crimes that could net 20 years. Then separately we have his sedition in relation to J6. I consider what he did to be treason but again that is just my own personal opinion.
Taken together it looks to me that donnie is in fact subject to the law.
If what you posted is sarcasm then well done!
And over his whole life for someone who never commutted a crime he sure seems to need the services of a lotta lawyers.

Didn’t she quit on January 6 or 7? Or am I thinking of someone else?

The section requires that the disclosure must be made in a ā€œmanner prejudicial to the safety or interest of the United States or for the benefit of any foreign government.ā€ Disclosure is not a per se violation of the statute and I don’t know what it takes to establish that a disclosure is prejudicial to the safety or interests of the US, but I trust Smith to have those ducks lined up before charging a violation.

That’s putting it generously.

It would be a Chef’s Kiss if he caught his fingers in the door.

Not quite true. He couldn’t be prosecuted for federal crimes committed while in office (or before) while he was president. But after J20 2021 he’d lose the immunity for any federal crimes committed during his presidency.

Profiles in courage, both of them. Had he been re-elected would they still be working for him? I am thinking, yes.

Let me know when she says this to the appropriate authorities under oath.

Until then, not so much.

Yes, Trump. Ruh roh, you moron.

Fundamentally unfit to be POTUS.

Enough about that thing. I smiled when I read this:

Stephanie Grisham said: ā€œI watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago on the dining room patio.

ā€No worries EVERYONE knows anything said or done on the patio stays on the patio.
