Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) implored President Donald Trump on Sunday to cancel his upcoming trip to Kenosha, Wisconsin on Tuesday as unrest rages on in the city over the shooting of Jacob Blake by police.
Well isn’t that Trump’s point - to hinder the healing? He thinks he benefits from chaos.
Yeah, a statement like that is like catnip for Trump and his supporters, unfortunately.
$20 says Trump praises Shittenhouse while in town. And muses about pardoning him. (I know, State crimes, but he’ll still say it)
He needs a big splash to keep himself interested and relevant. The convention didn’t boost his popularity. Apparently he’s fuming over the ratings so it’s time to get of Washington and stir shit just to control the media news cycle.
I doubt giving him a pardon but there will be praise for the ‘militia’.
Gov. Evers: IGNORE the Orange Stain, as much as possible. Send the most minimal State resources.
As much as possible, deprive him of attention and reinforcement for his selfish stunt.
I’m sure he’s hoping that he can inflame even more hate and violence.

While I understand that such a letter serves political and CYA functions, it should be clear by now that current occupant sees Dem leaders as nothing more than props to be used in inflating his image. Sadly, there was never any chance that he would defer to Evers’ request. (ed.)
