Jones Day has been paid more than $4.5 million for its work for the Trump campaign. That’s not money coming out of Trump’s own pocket, of course. All those legal fees – to Jones Day and elsewhere – are being paid out of the campaign fund. Hopefully they were smart enough to get a very substantial retainer to be applied against the final month’s invoice too.
